LARRY H. MILLER CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM PARTNERS WITH UNITED BLOOD SERVICES ON SUMMER KICK-OFF BLOOD DRIVE IN SURPRISE
WHEN: Friday, June 8th from 8 am to noon
WHERE: Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram
13165 North Autoshow Avenue, Surprise (85388)
*United Blood Services’ Bloodmobile will be in the parking lot.
Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Surprise is kicking off the summer with a United Blood Services blood drive on Friday, June 8 from 8 a.m. to noon. United Blood Services’ bloodmobile will be located in the dealership’s parking lot at 13165 North Autoshow Avenue in Surprise.
While summertime typically means vacations and fun, United Blood Services often faces blood shortages this time of the year.
“With the return of snowbirds to the north, school holidays and out-of-town travel, traditionally fewer people give blood, although the demand can increase due to summer activities and heavy traffic on the roads and highways,” said Sid Lewis, senior director of donor recruitment for United Blood Services’ Southwest Division. “Every day, more than 500 blood donors are needed to meet the transfusion needs of Arizona patients.”
The blood drive at Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is aimed at not only helping keep the blood supply level stable, but also bringing greater awareness to the need for summertime blood donations. Larry H. Miller Dealerships have a strong legacy of giving back to its communities and focus their giving on organizations whose programs address health and education.

Clean Out Your Closet For A Great Cause!
We are very excited to help a program call C.A.S.S (Central Arizona Shelter Services). The C.A.S.S program is Arizona's largest emergency homeless shelter. "Ending homelessness in Maricopa County has been at the heart of Central Arizona Shelter Services' (CASS) work since the agency opened its doors in 1984. From the very beginning, CASS addressed the needs of the Valley's men, women and children experiencing homelessness through a continuum of care program model that provided shelter and individualized supportive services allowing these individuals to move their lives forward."Adult men are the largest population that they serve and oftentimes they come to them with just the clothes on their backs.
